| Spring 2007 Department of conservation did a fish check recently
and said the fish population was great and improved over last check.
Big improvement in Bass population. |

Governor Bond Lake in Greenville, Illinois is a great recreational lake
in central Illinois. It offers great fishing as well as boating,
skiing and waverunning.
Jugs and trotlines must be attended daily. Legal size cast nets,
shad scoops and minnow seines may be used to obtain shad, minnows and any
fish for bait only. Bait may not be obtained for commercial purposes.
